- Design and construct an educational pamphlet using guidelines learned in both Technical Writing and Writing for Change. Turn in a reflective essay at the end of the semester reviewing what was learned and how those concepts were applied to the design and content of the pamphlet.
- Learn in-depth about the process of how a bill becomes a law. Learn about and utilize appropriate (and ethical) means for contacting government officials. Interview one legislator to learn the most effective means of communication.
- Learn about writing grant proposals. Write one.
